This site provides information on SNPscan, a web-accessible tool for the analysis of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) array data.

SNPscan Below is a screenshot of the UCSC Human Genome Browser, with three custom tracks of SNP data loaded into the browser. You can use the SNPscan browser tool to convert a text file of SNP array data into a WIG file; this WIG file can then be loaded into the UCSC browser to permit a wide range of analyses. For example, you can explore chromosomal regions (from one nucleotide up to hundreds of millions) for features such as conservation, repetitive elements, genes, and SNPs. Visit the sample data page for a sample WIG file, or upload your own data set to create new WIG files.
