Main Repositories of DNA sequence

The International Nucleotide Sequence Database Collaboration promotes the international effort to deposit all DNA sequence in three databases (GenBank, EMBL, DDBJ). These three sites offer hundreds of bioinformatics resources.

National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) Houses GenBank
European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI) Houses EMBL
DNA DataBank of Japan (DDBJ) Houses DDBJ
